- Soonicorn Spicy Cheese Powder 30 G
- Melted butter 15 G
- Cayenne pepper 1/2 TSP
- Paprika 1/2 TSP
- Soonicorn garlic powder 1/2 TSP
- Brown sugar 1 TSP
Directions
-
Marinate the chicken
Place 400g of bite-sized chicken in a bowl. Mix buttermilk, pickle brine, hot sauce, and egg, then pour over the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for 2–4 hours
-
Coat the chicken
Combine flour and salt in a shallow bowl. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let the excess drip off. Coat evenly with flour, dip briefly back into the marinade, then coat once more with flour. Rest for 10–15 minutes
-
Prepare the spicy cheese seasoning
Mix Soonicorn Spicy Cheese Powder, paprika, garlic powder, and brown sugar in a bowl. Add cayenne pepper if extra heat is desired
-
Fry the chicken
Heat vegetable oil to around 175°C (350°F). Fry the chicken in batches for about 4–6 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F)
-
Season the chicken
Transfer the fried chicken to a rack and let excess oil drain. While still hot, lightly toss with melted butter, then sprinkle generously with the spicy cheese seasoning until evenly coated.
-
Serve
Serve immediately while hot and crispy. Add an extra sprinkle of Soonicorn Spicy Cheese Powder for a stronger cheesy, spicy flavor
