BBQ Seasoned Chicken Wings
Smoky, juicy chicken wings coated with bold BBQ seasoning and a sweet, slightly spicy glaze
How to Make It
Ingredients
For the Chicken
- Chicken wings 500 G
- Cooking oil 1 TBSP
- Black pepper 1/4 TSP
- Salt 1/8 TSP
For the BBQ Dry Rub
- Soonicorn BBQ Charcoal Powder 15 G
- Cayenne pepper 1/4 TSP
For the BBQ Glaze
- Honey 1 TBSP
- Unsalted butter, melted 1 TBSP
- Hot sauce 1 TBSP
- Soonicorn BBQ Charcoal Powder 1 TSP
Directions
-
Preheat the grill
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat, around 180–200°C (350–400°F). Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking
-
Season the chicken wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss with cooking oil, black pepper, a small pinch of salt, and 15–20 g Soonicorn BBQ Charcoal Powder until evenly coated
-
Grill the wings
Place the wings on the grill and cook for 20–25 minutes, turning every few minutes so they cook evenly and develop a lightly charred BBQ surface
-
Prepare the BBQ glaze
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, hot sauce, and 1–2 teaspoons Soonicorn BBQ Charcoal Powder until smooth
-
Glaze the wings
During the final 5–7 minutes of grilling, brush the wings with the BBQ glaze, turning and brushing again to create a glossy, flavorful coating
-
Finish on the grill
Grill for another 1–2 minutes per side until the glaze sets and the wings are slightly caramelized. Make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F)
-
Serve
Remove from the grill and serve immediately. For a stronger BBQ flavor, lightly sprinkle a little extra Soonicorn BBQ Charcoal Powder over the hot wings before serving
